This site which can be found at www.knowtes.com. It is a flashcard-based learning community. It is very easy to use. One of the most significant uses is the animation and ease of use. The site is fun, vivid, easy, and effective for all grades.

Another one of the features is the reminder option. Upon setting the reminder, this tool will remind you when you set the date and time you have to complete the unit or series of study for each set of cards. It is at this point you can begin studying even more based on the timeline you create.

It is also a very effective tool for being organized with all of your different subjects. The students can create a new card stack for each class and especially while learning a second language.

The site is very inviting and easy to use.

Another one of the features of this site is the ability to create groups. I could use this to assign words of the week, vocabulary words, terms and definitions and most of all they have premade cards. If I ever get in pinch, I can assign a group of cards that were made by other teachers.

There is a search by text feature so that you can populate a set of cards from the text book. I really like having the ability to use the textbook to create decks for my classes.

Signing up seems to be a little tricky. You need to be invited to the site in order to register. I am awaiting my invitations so that I can fully use this resource. The tutorial is very easy and you have the option of using it or just trying it on your own.
